Congratulations to Cian Gallagher completed his Long X Country Solo on Sat June 4th  . . . another step towards his PPL. The trip took him to Donegal and Abbeyshrule.

Congratulations to David Martin who completed his 1st Solo on Sat. 3rd Oct in our Cessna 172.

The weather was good and over 30 aircraft visited. All visitors were well looked after  – the Toastie  machine was back at full throttle and Pamela did a great job keeping everyone “topped up”. The meal on Sat evening was delicious and the Wine & Beer very drinkable  . . . just ask *******  .

Sligo Airport is hosting a Flyin  – starting Fri 4th Sept and continuing on Sat 5th  & Sun 6th. A large amount of aircraft are expected so let’s hope the weather is good. For further information visit the Airport website at:  http://www.sligoairport.com

Congratulations to our members, Eamon Gilroy  and Nathan Flynn  who recently sucessfully passed the PPL Licence Skills Test. Eamon did his test (EASA PPL) at Sligo in EI-BIB with examiner Colman Brady. Nathan did his test (FAA PPL) in Florida having completed his FAA PPL course at the Naples Air Center. Both hope to progress to ATPL
